Frankie Goes To Hollywood – a ‘Welcome To The Pleasuredome’ promo poster

Peter Ashworth: “Paul Morley wanted a jungle that had all sorts of references hidden within it, inferences to money, power, sex …. but not in an obvious way (well, not too obvious, but discoverable by those buying the record) and a potential for outrage, upsetting the cart in some way”

Where was it shot? in a heavily dressed studio or in somewhere like the Barbican indoor garden with extra props?
Peter Ashworth: “Bagleys Warehouse, the studio I then used, which became a major night venue a few years later before making way (at least in use, if not be actually demolished – I am unsure whether it was knocked down or not) for Central St Martins new building”.
